A Clare man has been named the national winner of the Dublin City Marathon.

30-year-old Sean Hehir of Kilkishen, finished the race in a time of 2.19.47 ahead of Gary Hanlon and David Mansfield.
More than 15,000 people took part in the event which took place in Dublin yesterday which saw Alemu Gemechu and Nataliya Lehonkova taking the top prizes.
