Clare lose out to Tip in Daryl Darcy Cup Final

There was disappointment for Clare’s Under 17s yesterday.

They lost out in the Daryl Darcy Cup Final against Tipperary, losing 1-11 to 0-08 in Limerick.

Meanwhile, the details for this weekend’s Munster Championship games involving Clare teams have been announced.

Clare Intermediate Hurling Champions Eire Og begin their Munster Championship campaign against Ballyduff of Kerry this coming Sunday.

Ballyduff lifted a record 23rd county title earlier this month, and will have home advantage for the game which will be held at Austin Stack Park in Tralee, throwing in at 2:00

The winners of the tie will play either Aherlow of Tipperary or Limerick’s Effin in the final.

The other Clare side in provincial action won’t have to travel far at all however.

The county’s Junior Football Champions Meelick have home advantage against Dromid Pearses of Kerry in a Munster Championship quarter Final, also at 2:00 this Sunday – the winners will play the representatives of Cork in the last 4.
