A late collapse has seen Clare lose out in last night’s Munster Under 21 football championship clash against Limerick.
Despite leading by five points inside the last three minutes of the game, the Banner ultimately missed out on a place in the competition’s semi-finals with the Treatymen clinching the win in extra time.

The final score was Clare 0-15 Limerick 2-11.
Clare’s Podge Collins was sent off in the game, as was Mike Sheehan of Limerick, both for second yellow-card offences.
Cathal McInerney top scored for the Banner with 0-6.
