Clare lost out to Cork in this afternoons Munster minor hurling championship clash
The Rebels ran out winners in Tulla by 3-24 to 3-17 thanks in part to a dominant third quarter showing.
Clare struck for two early goals through Liam Murphy, but the first of three green flags from Callum Coffey meant Clare led by just one at half time; 2-8 to 1-10.
Another brace of Coffey goals in the second period along with an overall haul of 0-14 from Craig O’Sullivan saw Cork open an unassailable lead heading into the home stretch.
John Barry did find the net for a consolation goal for Clare, but it meant little to the result as the Rebels ran out deserving winners.
Up next for Clare is a showdown with Limerick in Rathkeale on April 25th.
