Clare Lose Out To Classy Cork

A defensive mix-up saw Cork score a first half goal through Daniel Goulding and this, along with some more points coming up to the break, saw the Rebels lead by 7 once more at half-time, 1-11 to 0-07.

A Gary Brennan goal early on the second gave Clare life, but the gap never fell below five after that as Cork’s forwards, led by Fintan Goold, made sure it was Conor Counihan’s men who booked a place in the Munster Final against Kerry.

It finished Cork 1-20 Clare 1-11.  Clare will now go down the Qualifiers route, with their next game likely to be held on July 6th.
