Clare got the perfect start as Shane O Donnell goaled within the opening 5 minutes but Tipperary then dominated the rest of  the half and led by 1-10 to 1-4 at the break.

However Clare reeled in their opponents in a frantic second half and there was just two between the sides in the closing minutes until the Premier Couny tapped over two easy scores in the final 90 seconds to claim their first Munster minor title since 2007.

Clare will now be in q-final action at the end of July.
