Clare Looking To Keep Laois Talisman Kavanagh Quiet In Qualifier Tie

A key member of Clare’s senior hurling side says they’ll be looking to give a disciplined performance against Laois in the first round of the qualifiers.

The Banner take on Eddie Brennan’s men on Saturday hoping to kickstart their campaign after a Munster quarter final loss to Limerick a fortnight ago.

The Leinster side should have free-taking talisman Mark Kavanagh back to full fitness after he was restricted to only one half of hurling in their loss to Dublin.
