Clare And Limerick Set For Shannonside Derby In Munster SHC Final Showdown

Clare are bidding to bridge a gap of 24 years since the counties last Munster senior hurling title this afternoon.

The Banner will take on Limerick in the provincial decider for the first time since 1995 in Semple Stadium, with the newly minted Mick Mackey cup on offer for the winners along with a place in the All Ireland semi finals.

Both sides came through the round robin phase unbeaten, with Clare finishing top of the standings due to their superior scoring difference.
