Clare And Limerick To Name Teams Later For Munster Hurling Championship Opener

Clare will name their team later tonight for Sunday’s Munster hurling championship opener against Limerick.

The inclusion of Tony Kelly on the matchday squad remains the subject of discussion, with late changes on the day likely to come into play.

Limerick will also unveil their squad but will be without both Peter Casey and Darragh O’Donovan, and it remains to be seen if John Kiely opts to select Kyle Hayes in the starting line up.

Former Clare captain Pat O’Connor says both sides had differing objectives in the lead up to this game during the league campaign.

Throw in on Sunday afternoon is at 2pm with commentary on Clare FM with Matt Waters Clare Fruit and Veg Market Turnpike Road, and Healy’s Spar and Off License, Turnpike Ennis.

You can hear a full preview of the game on this evening’s Sideline View from 6pm.
