Clare’s Ladies Football Secretary has expressed her ‘shock and surprise’ at the decision of the chairperson and treasurer to step aside.
Outgoing chairman David O Brien and outgoing treasurer Geraldine Kelly had been widely assumed to be continuing their roles, but announced they were stepping back at last night’s annual convention.
Secretary Monica Callinan, who was returned for another term, adjourned the meeting thereafter with it expected to take place again next week.
