An appeal lodged by the former Chairman of Clare Ladies Football was heard by the Munster Council Appeals hearing committee last night.
Doonbegs Davy Browne has lodged an objection to the outcomes of the recent Clare AGM in which he was defeated for the 2014 Clare County Board Chairman position and also in the contest for the 2014 Clare Minor team manager
The new board had confirmed in a statement that despite chairing the AGM himself Mr. Browne is not happy that correct procedures were followed at the AGM and has appealed all outcomes to the Munster Council.
The case was heard at a meeting last night; the council will deliberate and are expected to make their decision on the matter known on Monday.
