The Clare Ladies footballers failed to grasp the much needed win they hoped for in taking on Meath in the national football league.

Their division two tie ended in a 3-13 to 2-11 victory for the royal county.
Meath led 2-05 to 0-04 at half time, and despite second half goals from Aoife Keane and Eimear Considine, the Clare ladies ended the outing with a 5 point loss.
This latest defeat comes after an opening round win over Fermanagh, but losses to Cavan and Galway.
