Clare Ladies Skipper Says Equality Gap With Male Counterparts Is Being Bridged

Clare’s ladies football captain believes the gap between themselves and their male counterparts is slowly being bridged.

It comes after the LGFA confirmed players will receive travel expenses for playing in the National League this season at 30 cent a mile.

The association will also operate its season on a split club and county basis, with the All Ireland championships to begin straight after the League campaign finishes in June.
