Clare’s incoming ladies football captain is hopeful of restrictions on intercounty training being eased next month.
County sides are listed under the ‘elite sports’ category, with it due to become clear over the next 48 hours as to whether they will be permitted to train together in groups for the first time this year.

West Clare Gaels’ Caoimhe Harvey will skipper that panel of players when they are back to the training ground for this campaign.
She says it’s been challenging to integrate new players into the squad under current restrictions.
