It’s finished a one point victory for John Burkes side; Clare 3-17 to Kildares 1-22.
The Banners Niamh O’Dea was awarded Player of the match, with a final tally of 2-07.
The draw for the next round of the championship has taken place and Clare have been drawn against Tyrone.
