In ladies football and Clare suffered a 5-19 to 2-16 loss to Galway today in their ladies All Ireland q-final in Birr.

Clare trailed by 2-8 to 1-8 at the break but despite playing with the wind in the second half the Tribeswomen dominated and romped home to a 12 point win.
