The Banner faced off against Offaly in the first round of group two this afternoon in Clara.
Burren Gaels clubwoman, Laura Griffey raised the green flag in the second half while Fidelma Marrinan was on-song throughout, registering a personal haul of 0-07 over the hour to see Clare win out on a full time score of 1-17 to 1-12.
Wayne Freeman’s Charges will face Wicklow in the second round in Cusack Park on June 19th.
