All Ireland Intermediate Football Championship : Clare – 4-22 – Wicklow – 0-05
The Clare Ladies Footballers have reached the knockout stages of the All-Ireland Intermediate Championship for the second year in succession.
It follows a decisive victory over Wicklow in the second round of the group stages in Cusack Park this afternoon.
The usual suspects of Chloe Moloney ,Aisling Reidy & Fidelma Marrinan led the way for the Banner, all raising green flags over the hour while Marrinan would finish with a personal tally of 2-08.
Wayne’s Freeman’s charges ultimately ran out convincing winners on a full time score of 4-22 to 0-05.
Clare will meet Tyrone in their remaining group fixture in Pearse Park, Longford on Sunday June 25th to determine the group winners.
