Clare’s junior camogie team suffered a heartbreaking defeat in St. Brendan’s Park, Birr after they went down 1-11 to 0-10 to Limerick in the semi-final.
Rebecca Noonan’s free on 52 minutes turned the contest on its head as the Shannonsiders took a lead they never relinquished.
The Banner had lead throughout beforehand and were 0-9 to 0-5 ahead thanks to Regan Conway, Kate and Niamh O’Gorman and Aisling Cahill before Limerick started their comeback.
