Clare’s intercounty panels will be keeping on eye on the Government’s announcement this evening as they look to be given the green light to return to team training next month.
There is hope among bosses under both codes that under their elite status, intercounty sides could return to the training pitch in the second half of April, if the Government signal the easing of certain public health restrictions later today.
Among those is Clare ladies football boss Evan Talty, who’s made no secret of his desire to win the All Ireland Intermediate series with the Banner in 2021.
