Clare Hurling and Football Managers To Be Announced

The county senior hurling and football managemnt teams for 2012 are set to be put in place at tonight’s Clare County board meeting.

Just days after his playing comeback for Sixmilebridge in the County senior hurling semi-final, Davy Fitzgerald is set to be named the new Clare hurling manger this evening.

The former Waterford boss will also announce his backroom team while it is believed he will be offered a three year term at the helm of Clare’s senior side.

Fitzgerald is also set to address the delegates as to his vision and plan  for the Clare senior set-up.

Meanwhile, Micháel Mc Dermott is set to be offered another year in charge of the county senior footballers.

The Cavan native is believed to be the only nominated candidate for the positon after the board failed to receive any interested candiates.

McDermott is also set to reveal some some changes to his backroom set up.
