Clare Hurlers Maintain Promotion Push

Clare have maintained their push for promotion after victory over Wexford in the Allianz National Hurling League.

The Banner came away from the south east with a battling 0-18 to 1-11 win.

They outscored their opponents by 0-9 to 0-1 in the closing 20 minutes to seal the victory.

Colin Ryan was Clare's top scorer with a personal tally of 0-10

Manager Davy Fitzgerald was delighted to come away with the win. 

Elsewhere in Division 1B, Limerick had just four points to spare over Kerry, winning by 1-19 to 1-15, while Offaly beat Laois 1-17 to 0-15.
