Clare hurlers downplay chances against Rebel county

However, forward Conor McGrath says the Rebels have a level of experience that Clare cannot match, and is expecting a tough Championship test from Jimmy Barry Murphy’s men.

Meanwhile, Westmeath’s Barry Kelly has been named as referee for Sunday’s game.

In what hopefully is not a bad omen for Clare, he was the man in the middle for the sides’ Munster Championship Semi-Final of 2006, which Cork won by six points.

Clare FM’s live commentary of this Sunday’s Munster hurling semi final between Clare and Cork will be brought to you in association with Clare fruit and Veg market and Donie O’Keeffe Champion meats Turnpike road, Ennis.
