Clare have been grouped with Kerry, Wexford and Meath in Division 2A of the 2021 Lidl Ladies National Football League.
It’s a tough assignment for Evan Talty’s side, as they face a Royals outfit who knocked them out of last year’s All Ireland Intermediate Championship before going on to win the competition.
Kerry will also prove a difficult nut to crack after they maintained senior status too last year, with Wexford joining the Banner in being among the leading contenders for the 2021 Intermediate series.
Round 1 begins on Sunday the 23rd of May, with group games taking place on successive weekends, semi finals taking place on the 13th of June and finals taking place on the 27th.
Clare’s fixture details will be released following agreement with the other counties involved.
