Waterford dominated scoreboard action in the second half but their deficit was far too much to work back and it ended in a 13 point victory for the All Ireland champions.
Shane O'Donnell scored his second goal and Clare fifth in the second half, and Former Clare All star and Clare FM Analyst Niall Gilligan says Waterford were too slow to adapt to the threat he posed in front of goal.
