Clare meet Cork this evening in the preliminary round of the Munster Senior Camogie Championship.

Both sides come into the game off the back of disappointing league campaigns, with the Banner losing three in a row after a strong start saw them beat Offaly and Wexford.

The Rebels lost out in a playoff to Limerick meaning they miss out on the knockout stages.

Clare boss Patricia O'Grady was without a number of key players for the latter games of the league with a number of younger players getting big game experience.

The Newmarket woman says that's led to an increased battle for places on the starting 15.

It gets underway this evening in Meelick at 5.30pm
