The head of Clare GAAs Finance Committee says the board will take clubs financial situations into account when deciding on the levy they must pay for the €2.3 million redevelopment of Cusack Park.
Last nights meeting heard a loan of 800 thousand euro will be required to complete the project, while a grant of 700 thousand has already been secured from Central and Munster Council.
Over a ten year period, a total of 108 thousand euro will be required to service the loan, with chairman Michael McDonagh telling delegates that roughly half of this will have to paid by clubs.
On average, its expected each club will be required to pay in the region of one thousand euro annually for the duration of the loan.
O'Currys man Michael Curtin, the chairman of the Finance Committee, says all efforts will be made to assist clubs with these payments.
