Treasurer of Clare GAA Bernard Keane is calling for club championships in Clare to start earlier in the season.

It's after this weeks convention heard of huge drops in the income stream for 2015, with a fall of over €100,000 in the surplus for the year.
The Doora Barefield clubman said he was horrified that this years Cusack Cup Final had gone to extra time rather than a replay, resulting in a predicted loss of €4,000 for the board.
He says there also needs to be a reversal to the decision not to have replays in the senior club championships up to semi final stage, and called for midweek replays to be considered.
