Newly elected chairman of Clare GAA Kieran Keating will take charge of his first county board meeting this evening.
The Naomh Eoin clubman informed delegates during his acceptance speech at last week’s Convention that he felt the issues surrounding the relegation process from the senior hurling championship should be addressed as a matter of urgency.
Clubs will gather tonight to discuss potential ways forward, after the Munster Council upheld an appeal from Crusheen GAA club against the manner in which the round robin series was run this year.
It is also expected that Colm Collins will be ratified as Clare senior football manager for a ninth season, while managements at U20 and minor levels in both codes are also set to be rubberstamped.
