Clare dogs and owners get set for Clonmel

Several Clare owners and trainers are getting ready for the Clonmel coursing meeting which gets underway this weekend

The highlights of the coursing year has moved to a weekend for the first time with thousands expected in the Tipperary town from Saturday until Monday.

Clare has 7  runners invovled between the Oaks and Derby.

Phoenix Bruno for Diarmuid and Eoin Garrihy of Clonlara is running in the third quarter of the derby tomorrow.

Diarmuid told Clare FM that they are facing a tough draw against Team Tyson from Cork.

Kermacdec for John Quin is also in action in the derby against Go On Slogan.
