Clare are Division 1B champions after they edged a thrilling league final with Limerick by 21 points to 1-16 in the Gaelic grounds.
Limerick got a whirlwind start and Clare trailed by 3 points at the break before a Shane Dowling penalty 11 minutes into the second half gave them a 6 point lead.
However scores from Pat Donnellan and John Conlon brought Clare back into the game and they took the lead through Nicky O Connell on the stroke of 70 minutes froma ’65 before Conor Mc Grath slotted a free to secure Clare’s first league win in three attempts.
