Clare booked their place in the last four of the Munster U21 Football Championship with a resounding 2-11 to 0-3 win over Waterford.
The Banner dominated the contest from the outset, with Jamie Malone’s goal and a brace from both Keelan Sexton and Eimhin Courtney saw them lead 1-4 to 0-4 at half time.
Jamie Malone struck for the first of his two goals after 24 minutes, palming to the net after Martin O’Leary’s ball across the square following great work from the Kilmihil man.
Malone struck again just three minutes into the second half, picking up the ball 45 metres from goal before soloing right through and finishing to the net.
That killed the game as a contest, with Clare cruising to a comfortable 14 point win, with further scores from Sexton, Courtney, Paddy O’Malley and Conor Cleary.
The Neil Hawes and Michael O’Shea trained side now travel to Thurles to take on Tipperary in the Munster Semi Final next Wednesday night.
