Two champion athletes from Kilkishen have been honoured with a civic reception by Clare County Council.

Louise McCagh was the first Irish woman to win a senior World Taekwando World Championship, while Sean Hehir was the first Clare winner of the Dublin Marathon.
They were honoured with a civic reception after the Council's meeting this week, and say it's a privilege.
