O'Callaghan-Mills clubman Robert Frost is looking to build support for his presidential bid, having secured the backing of the Clare GAA to run for the position.
The election to succeed Aogán Ó Fearghaíl will take place at the Association's Annual Congress in February and, if Mr. Frost is successful, he'll become the first Clareman to hold the position in 128 years.
He says it would be a great honour, having spent a lifetime involved in Gaelic Games.
