It was a historic weekend for Clare Handball with three All-Ireland titles captured in the one day.
Tulla duo Niall Bolton and Colin Corbett came up trumps in the U21 40×20 Doubles decider. Bolton a member of Donal Moloney’s U21 hurling panel is also in the final for the Singles equivalent.
Clarecastle’s Doireann Murphy picked up a rare double when she and Tuamgraney’s Clodagh Nash secured the 40×20 Minor title. It follows Murphy’s success in the Minor Singles last weekend.
In the final tie of the evening, Clare picked up yet another All-Ireland title when Newmarket-on-Fergus man Richard Woods combined with Tom Kirby to claim the Masters Doubles crown defeating their Carlow opponents 21-11 21-4.
