Clare Camogie have received a huge boost in their efforts to secure a pitch of their own.

Clare County Council has granted planning permission for the development of a 3 acre site at Gaurus on the Doora Road on the outskirts of Ennis.
It includes two pitches, the installation of dressing rooms, floodlights, a retractable netting system and car parking facilities.
A spokesperson for the Clare Camogie Board says the granting of planning permission for these phases of the project has been held up as the final piece of the jigsaw, in what has been a long-running campaign to get proper facilities.
