Brid McNamara will be awarded this county’s prize at a virtual ceremony in recognition of her work with the association throughout a year like no other in Gaelic Games.

Brid’s own fundraising efforts saw her take to the roads in this county, walking 430 kilometres in total to simulate a journey to Croke Park, amassing €16,000 for the association in the process.
She says the award is a boost for everyone involved in the association after a year of thinking outside the box due to COVID-19.
