Clare have made it two wins out of two in this years Liberty Insurance All Ireland Championship after a two point win over Offaly in Birr.

The Banner led at the break by 1-7 to 0-4, with the goal coming from Fiona Lafferty. The home side fought back in the second half, and reduced the gap to just two points with minutes to play. An Offaly 21 yard free was saved but the rebound found its way to the net to set up a nervy finish.
Clare held on though to claim both points, and after the game manager Colm Honan praised the resolve his side showed when under pressure.
