The chairperson of the Clare camogie association has admitted they weren’t expecting a decison on planning permission for their new facilty in Doora to be granted so quickly.
Clare county council earlier this week gave the green light to the new facilty outside of Ennis which is set to include 2 pitches, dressing rooms and floodlights.
Considine told Clare fm that the news was annoucned quicker than anticipated and that it is just the first hurdle scaled in the attempts to provide the county with its own camogie facilties.
