Three Clare boxers advanced to the finals of the Elite Ladies Championships in the National Stadium Dublin On Saturday

Sally Carrig (Ennis) and Caoilinn and Kayleigh McCormack from the Kilfenora club will box in their respective finals on Friday night with the winners guaranteed a place in the pool of boxers for selection in the upcoming European Youths championships.
Sally Carrig won her semi-final against Christina Desmond from Cork on a 10-6 scoreline ,
Cousins Caoilinn and Kayleigh McCormack overcameHannah Quirke (St Bridgets Kildare) and Niamh Ball (Trojan Tralee) , winning by 19-13 and 12-7 respectively
