Clare Book Place In National Hurling League Final With Tipperary Win

Clare will face Kilkenny in the final of the Allianz National Hurling League.

Brian Lohan’s side have made in into the final for the third time since 2016 after a comprehensive win over Tipperary this evening.

The Banner took an early lead and showed few signs of weakness, with Jake Morris’ 16th-minute goal immediately answered by a goal from David Fitzgerald.

Tipp’s Sean Hayes found the net just after the restart in the second-half but a strong Clare display ensured they’d clinch the victory.

The final score in O’Moore Park Portlaoise was Clare 1-24 Tipperary 2-13.
