Clare have suffered heartbbreak for the second year running after they were beaten by Kilkenny in this year’s All Ireland Minor final by 5-10 to 3-8.
Kilkenny were always in control and went in at the break leading by 5-5 to 1-4.

However,Clare were given a lifeline in the second half when Roisin Mc Mahon goaled to reduce the defeict and another goal from Shonagh Enright reduced the gap to 8 with 8 minutes to go.
But the margin was too large and Clare suffer their second successive defeat at Minor level to KiIlkenny.
