In hurling news and Clare have beaten Waterford in the Waterford Crystal semi final today in Walsh Park by 3-17 to 4-09
Clare led at the break by 1-9 to 1-7 and despite conceding 2 late goals booked their place in next week’s final.
They will play Tipperary after Declan Ryan’s men beat Cork after extra time in Templemore by 0-25 to 1-19.
