The Clare woman who is being honoured with an Irish Sport Volunteers in Sport Award is confident basketball is building popularity in the county.
Lissycasey native Claire Cuddihy is the Banner’s recepient of the national honour which is supported by the National Network of 29 Local Sports Partnerships.
Claire is a key driver in the promotion of basketball in the county, primarily through her roles with Clare Comets Basketball Club and Ennis Raptors.
