Clare and Limerick to meet again after W’ford Crystal thriller

Clare and Limerick will have to meet again in the W’ford Crystal cup after a thrilling draw in Sixmilebridge last night.

Despite playing two periods of extra time the teams could not be seperated with the final score after 100 minutes Clare 0-18 Limerick 1-15.

The game ended level after normal time thanks to Declan Hannon’s penalty which saw the sides deadlocked at 1-10 to 0-13.

A further 30 minutes could not divide the teams and the replay has been fixed for next Tuesday at 7 in the Gaelic grounds.
