Clare and Limerick to contest league final

 

Clare will play Limerick in the national hurling league final next weekend after both sides recorded wins on the final day of the league today.

Cathal Chaplin’s late goal for Clare giving them a 2-14 to 0-19 win over Ollie Baker’s side.

Davy Fitzgerald’s outfit led by 10 points to 0-07 at the break and had captain Fergal Lynch sent off after just 10 minutes meaning he will be suspended for next week’s final.

John Allen’s side beat Antrim in Casement park by 3-22 to 0-17 while Wexford overcame Laois  by 4-18 to 0-15
