In Group 2 of the Senior All-Ireland Camogie Championship, Clare were up against Dublin this afternoon in Newmarket-on-Fergus.

It finished a draw on 1-08 apiece. Clare trailed by 2 points at half-time. Early in the second half they brought the game back to within a single point and after 59 minutes went into a 2 point lead.
However, in the dying minutes of the game, Dublin clawed back the two points to force a draw. The final score again – Clare 1-08 and Dublin 1-08.
The Banner had been without a number of key players with four of the squad forced to choose to travel with the footballers to the Munster Intermediate Final in Mallow.
