It’s claimed Clare’s forward line will need to make a bigger contribution for the rest of the campaign than they did during the Munster championship loss to Limerick.

Brian Lohan’s men will take on Laois on Saturday in the first round of the qualifiers, having been on the receiving end of a 10 point defeat to the Treaty men less than a fortnight ago.

Tony Kelly scored 17 points of the Banner’s 1-23 total that day, with Ryan Taylor, Cathal Malone, Diarmuid Ryan and Stephen O Halloran the only other players to get on the score sheet.
