Clare’s world champion handballers have been awarded a civic reception in their honour.

Clare competitors returned from the World Championships in Dublin with a total of 18 medals, including ten world titles, in what has been described as a remarkable achievement.
The players, coaches and officials concerned will be honoured with a civic reception at Clare County Council’s offices in Ennis in the new year.
