City go joint top of the Premier League as United are held by Villa

It was a busy day of action in the Premier League.

Man City are joint top tonight after beating Crystal Palace by 3 goals to nil. Two for David Silva and one from Yaya Toure, all in the second half, gave them all three points.

Aston Villa brought Manchester Uniteds 6 game winning streak to an end as they played out a 1-1 draw. Benteke put Villa ahead before Falcao levelled matters.

Tottenham are 6th after goals from Harry Kane and Erik Lamela saw them beat Burnely 2-1.

Elsewhere Southampton beat Everton 3-0, West Ham beat Leicester 2-0, QPR fought back from two nil down to beat West Brom 3-2 thanks to a Charlie Austin hat trick, and Swansea got the better of Hull 1-0.
